[1. Call to Order and Recognition of Quorum] [00:00:02] OKAY, I'M GOING TO CALL THIS MEETING TO ORDER OF THE BROWARD METROPOLITAN PLANNING ORGANIZATION TECHNICAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE OF MAY 22ND. WE HAVE QUORUM AND WE'LL DO ROLL CALL. EXCELLENT. ALL SET. THANK YOU. [3. Approval of Minutes - April 24, 2024] NEXT ITEM IS APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES FROM APRIL 24TH. IF I CAN HAVE A MOTION. MOTIONS MADE BY VIVIANA, SECONDED BY RICHARD. ANY COMMENTS ABOUT THE MINUTES? SEEING NONE NOW, WE'LL VOTE ON THE ITEM. EXCELLENT MOTION CARRIES. NEXT ITEM IS THE APPROVAL OF TODAY'S AGENDA. [4. Approval of Agenda] MOTION MADE BY MAQSOOD. SECONDED BY DANIEL. ANY COMMENTS ON THE AGENDA? SEEING NONE. CALL FOR A VOTE ON APPROVAL OF TODAY'S AGENDA. MOTION CARRIES. THANK YOU ALL. NEXT IS PUBLIC COMMENTS. DO WE HAVE ANY PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ANY ITEMS ON THE AGENDA OR ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA OR PREVIOUSLY SUBMITTED? NO REBEKKA'S TELLING ME NO. SO WE'LL MOVE ON TO THE NEXT ITEM, WHICH IS NUMBER FIVE, THE 2050 MTP UPDATE BY MR. [5. Public Comments Please submit to info@browardmpo.org at least 24 hours prior to the start of the meeting.] RESTREPO. BUT THERE IT IS. OKAY. PERFECT. GOOD AFTERNOON. MY NAME IS CHRISTOPHER RESTREPO, ONE OF THE PROJECT MANAGERS FOR OUR ROUTE TO 2050 METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION PLAN AND I AM GOING TO BE GIVING YOU A QUICK UPDATE ON SOME OF THE THINGS THAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US IN THE NEXT COMING MONTHS AS IT RELATES TO OUR COST FEASIBLE PLAN. SO FIRST UP, HERE IS A SCHEDULE OF WHERE WE ARE. WE GOT AN ENDORSEMENT OF OUR DRAFT COST FEASIBLE PLAN FROM OUR BOARD JUST A FEW WEEKS AGO, AND THAT WAS PREEMPTED BY THE ENDORSEMENT THAT WE RECEIVED FROM ALL OF YOU, ALL AS PART OF OUR APRIL TAC MEETING. AND I DID MAKE THE THE SUGGESTION TO TELL ALL OF THE BOARD MEMBERS TO PLEASE GIVE YOU ALL KUDOS FOR ALL THE GREAT WORK AND PARTICIPATING IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF OUR DRAFT COST FEASIBLE PLAN. SO I HOPE SOME OF THEM GAVE YOU GUYS SOME PHONE CALLS. IF NOT, THAT'S I'LL FOLLOW UP ON THEM. BUT ANYWAYS SO WE'RE IN THIS TIME FRAME BETWEEN MAY AND SEPTEMBER, WHERE WE'RE GOING TO BE SEEKING RESOLUTIONS OF SUPPORT FROM ALL OF THE LOCAL AGENCIES WHO SUBMITTED PROJECTS, AND THEN ALSO SOME OF THE PROJECTS THAT WE HAVE IDENTIFIED THROUGH OUR NEEDS ASSESSMENT THAT FALL WITHIN YOUR PROPER JURISDICTIONS TO MAKE SURE THAT WE'RE ALL SUPPORTIVE OF THE PROJECTS BEFORE WE GET THEM FINALIZED IN OUR COST FEASIBLE PLAN. SO WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT? WE WANT WE WOULD LIKE TO FIRST HOST SOME MEETINGS WITH ALL OF YOU, ALL BETWEEN THE MONTHS OF JUNE AND JULY, SO THAT WE CAN TALK A LITTLE BIT ABOUT WHAT WE ARE ASKING FOR IN THOSE RESOLUTIONS OF SUPPORT AND THEN WE CAN ALSO USE THAT TIME TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS THAT YOU MAY HAVE ABOUT THE PROJECTS THAT MAYBE DIDN'T MAKE THE DRAFT COST FEASIBLE, PLAN OR PROJECTS THAT ARE IN THE COST FEASIBLE PLAN THAT YOU MIGHT NOT HAVE HEARD OF AND WE WOULD LIKE TO JUST, YOU KNOW, CLEAR ALL THE AIR ABOUT EVERYTHING. SO THAT'S WHAT THE DISCUSSION THAT WE'RE GOING TO HAVE DURING THOSE MEETINGS, WHO ALL IS INVITED, OF COURSE, ALL OF YOU, ALL SELVES, THE TAC MEMBERS HERE, IF YOU HAVE CITY STAFF THAT WORKED ON PUTTING THE SCOPES TOGETHER FOR SOME OF THOSE PROJECTS, THEY'RE MORE THAN WELCOME TO BE PART OF THAT. ALSO, IF YOUR CITY MANAGER IS INTERESTED, IT'S OPTIONAL AND IF YOUR ELECTED OFFICIALS INTERESTED IN BEING THERE, WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THEM AS WELL. WE ARE GOING TO DO A SIMILAR SETUP, LIKE WE DID WITH OUR CALL FOR PROJECTS WHERE WE HAD THAT CALENDLY APPLICATION SO THAT YOU CAN GO IN THERE, SELECT A DATE, SELECT A TIME, IT'LL GIVE ME A CALENDAR INVITE, AND IT'LL GIVE ONE FOR YOU ALL AS WELL. WHAT WE WOULD LIKE TO DO IS HOST THEM IN PERSON. BUT IF THAT'S NOT AN OPTION, A VIRTUAL OPTION IS MORE THAN ACCEPTABLE AS WELL. SO WHAT IS THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF ALL OF THESE MEETINGS IS TO MAKE SURE THAT THESE PROJECTS ARE PROGRAM READY AND IF YOU FORGOT WHAT PROGRAM READY MEANS, THESE ARE THE CUTE LITTLE ICONS TO HELP REMIND US ALL. SO PROGRAM READY MEANS THAT A PROJECT HAS A GOOD SCOPE OF WORK. EVERY PROJECT THAT IS IN OUR DRAFT COST FEASIBLE PLAN DOES HAVE A GOOD SCOPE OF WORK, SO WE'RE GOOD THERE. IT ALSO HAS A COST ESTIMATE THAT WAS EITHER PROVIDED BY YOU ALL OR DEVELOPED BY OUR CONSULTANT TEAM, BY LOOKING AT THE SCOPE ELEMENTS. [00:05:03] SO WE HAVE THAT. WHAT'S MISSING ARE THOSE RESOLUTIONS OF SUPPORT AND THAT PARTNER COLLABORATION. SO WHAT WE'RE ASKING FOR IS A AGENCY RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT FOR THE PROJECT CENTER, THE COST FEASIBLE PLAN. IF THE PROJECT FALLS WITHIN YOUR JURISDICTIONAL BOUNDARY IT IS REQUIRED FOR US TO HAVE THAT RESOLUTION SO THE PROJECT CAN CONTINUE ON IN THE COST FEASIBLE PLAN. IF WE DON'T RECEIVE THAT, WE'LL REMOVE THE PROJECT FROM THE LIST, AND THEN THE NEXT PROJECT THAT'S IN THE PRIORITY ORDER WILL MOVE UP INTO IT. WE ALREADY HAVE ALL THE PROJECT INFORMATION THAT'S REQUIRED. SO WHEN WE SAY CLEARLY IDENTIFY SCOPE PROJECT ELEMENTS AND DEFINES PROJECT LIMITS, ALL OF THAT INFORMATION IS ALREADY PROVIDED IN THE DRAFT COST FEASIBLE LIST. WE JUST NEED ALL OF THAT INFORMATION TO BE IDENTIFIED IN THE RESOLUTION ITSELF AND THEN IT'LL JUST HAVE SOME LANGUAGE THAT SAYS THAT IT INCLUDES A COMMITMENT TO WORK WITH THE MPO AND THE PARTNERS TO PREPARE THE PROJECT FOR PROGRAMING. SO, YEAH AND THE DUE DATE FOR THESE RESOLUTIONS WOULD BE SEPTEMBER 6TH OF THIS YEAR SO 2024. THE SECOND PART TO THIS IS IF THE PROJECT THAT FALLS IN YOUR JURISDICTIONAL BOUNDARY ACTUALLY DOES NOT FALL ON YOUR LOCAL ROADWAY. SO FOR EXAMPLE, IF IT FALLS ON AN FDOT ROADWAY OR A COUNTY ROADWAY, WHAT WE WOULD NEED IS SOME FORM OF LETTER OF CONCURRENCE OR A YES FROM THEM SAYING THAT THEY APPROVE OF THE PROJECT, THAT THEY'RE OKAY WITH THE PROJECT GOING FORWARD, AND THAT IS GOING TO BE REQUIRED FOR US TO PROGRAM FUNDS ON IT. SO IF YOU DON'T HAVE THAT RIGHT NOW, THAT'S OKAY. WE'LL KEEP IT IN THE PLAN BUT FOR OUR NEXT PROGRAMING CYCLE THAT STARTS IN JANUARY OF 2025, WE'RE GOING TO REQUIRE SOME KIND OF FORM OF CONCURRENCE FROM THE FACILITY OWNER SO THAT WE CAN START ATTACHING FUNDS TO THAT PROJECT. SO WE'RE HERE TODAY IN MAY INTRODUCING THE CONCEPT OF OUR RESOLUTIONS OF SUPPORT. WE WOULD LIKE TO HOST THOSE PARTNER MEETINGS BETWEEN JUNE AND JULY. SO NEXT WEEK I'LL BE SENDING OUT AN EMAIL WITH THE CALENDLY LINK ASKING YOU ALL TO GO INTO THAT CALENDAR AND START RESERVING SOME MEETINGS. WE'LL DISCUSS THOSE PROJECTS AND THEN HOPEFULLY WE CAN GET ON SOME COMMISSION MEETINGS FOR THOSE RESOLUTION SUPPORT BETWEEN JUNE AND SEPTEMBER. THE DUE DATE FOR THE RESOLUTIONS OF SUPPORT IS SEPTEMBER 6TH AND THEN ONCE WE HAVE ALL OF THAT, WE'LL HAVE A NEW UPDATED DRAFT COST FEASIBLE PLAN FOR OCTOBER AND THEN WE'LL BE SEEKING ENDORSEMENT OF THE WHOLE PLAN IN DECEMBER AND I'M HERE FOR QUESTIONS. QUESTIONS FOR CHRISTOPHER, MAQSOOD. THANKS FOR YOUR PRESENTATION. ONE THING. THE MEETING IN JUNE AND JULY. IS IT MANDATORY MEETING OR OPTIONAL NUMBER ONE. NUMBER TWO, THE RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT LANGUAGE. ARE YOU GOING TO DISTRIBUTE THAT BEFORE THE MEETING OR. WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE MEETING. SO THE MEETINGS WITH US ARE OPTIONAL, BUT THEY'RE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO DO THE MEETING WITH US SO THAT WE CAN EXPLAIN IN DETAIL WHAT WE WOULD LIKE TO HAVE PART OF THAT RESOLUTION LANGUAGE, SO THAT THERE'S NO WHAMMIES THAT ARE THROWN OUT OUT AT YOU. BUT YES, YOU CAN START SCHEDULING THOSE AGENDA ITEMS ON COMMISSION MEETINGS SO THAT WE CAN GET THOSE RESOLUTIONS ON THERE BEFORE YOU HAVE THE MEETING SCHEDULED WITH US. SO DO YOU HAVE ANY DATE WHEN WE CAN GET THIS LANGUAGE FOR THE RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT? YEAH. NEXT WEEK, I WILL BE SENDING OUT A LINK WITH MORE INFORMATION OF HOW TO SCHEDULE THOSE MEETINGS WITH US AND THEN I'LL ALSO HAVE A DRAFT RESOLUTION LANGUAGE ATTACHED AS PART OF THAT EMAIL. OKAY. THANK YOU. CHRISTOPHER. THANK YOU. IS THERE ANY FLEXIBILITY ON SEPTEMBER 6TH? I ASK BECAUSE IT'S BUDGET SEASON, THAT TIME OF YEAR, AND IT'S DIFFICULT TO GET THINGS ON COMMISSION AGENDAS IN SEPTEMBER AND EVEN LATE AUGUST IN SOME INSTANCES. SO. SO WHAT I'M LEGALLY ALLOWED TO SAY IS NO, SEPTEMBER 6TH IS THE DAY. NO. BUT IF YOU SCHEDULE THOSE MEETINGS WITH US MAYBE WE CAN COORDINATE AND SEE WHAT WORKS BEST. HOPEFULLY. BUT IF I SAY THAT, THEN I GOT TO SAY THAT FOR EVERY BILL DOESN'T HAVE. NO SEPTEMBER 6TH OF IT. IT LET'S HAVE A MEETING AND LIKE, WE'LL TALK ABOUT THAT. SO SEPTEMBER 6TH, THEN I GET IT. THERE COULD BE SEVERAL RESOLUTIONS OF SUPPORT DEPENDING ON THE PROJECTS. I WOULD ASSUME THAT SOME OF US HAVE ALREADY PROVIDED RESOLUTIONS OF SUPPORT FOR ENTRY INTO THE MTP, BUT I'M NOT SURE. SO YOU ARE CORRECT IN THAT SOME OF THE PROJECTS MAYBE WOULD HAVE BEEN AS PART OF THE 2045 PLAN, WE WOULD NEED NEW UPDATED LANGUAGE SAYING THAT IT'S GOING TO BE PART OF THE 2050 PLAN. WHAT HAS BEEN DONE IN THE PAST IS BATCH RESOLUTIONS OF SUPPORT. SO IF YOUR MUNICIPALITY HAS A LOT OF PROJECTS, YOU CAN INCLUDE ALL THAT, A LOT OF THE PROJECT INFORMATION AS ONE RESOLUTION. BUT IT LOOKS LIKE BILL WANTED TO CHIME IN REAL QUICK. MAYBE IF I COULD SHARE. SEPTEMBER 16TH SEPTEMBER 6TH IS A HARD DEADLINE. OKAY AND IT IS REALLY IMPORTANT THAT YOU GET THOSE RESOLUTIONS TO SUPPORT BECAUSE PROJECTS THAT DON'T HAVE THEM WON'T MOVE FORWARD INTO THE COST FEASIBLE PLAN. [00:10:08] SO, YOU KNOW, THAT'S WHERE WE'RE COMING TO YOU IN MAY AND WE UNDERSTAND THE BUDGETING CYCLE. SO HOPEFULLY RIGHT, YOU CAN GET TO SOME OF THAT BEFORE THE SUMMER BREAK. I'M NOT SURE WHEN YOUR PARTICULAR COMMISSION TAKES THEIR BREAK. WELL AND I'LL SHARE. THAT'S NOT POSSIBLE FOR OUR I IF YOU IF WE DID IT TODAY WE WOULDN'T IT BE BEFORE SUMMER BREAK. SO WE HAVE TO HAVE STUFF SIX WEEKS BEFORE THE COMMISSION MEETING. THEY'RE GOING ON BREAK FOR A MONTH. SO BASICALLY TODAY, THE EARLIEST I COULD GET WAS THE LAST MEETING AUGUST AND LIKE CHRIS, THAT'S BUDGET SEASON AND THEY'RE COMING BACK FROM SUMMER PRETTY HARD TO GET ANYTHING ON THE AGENDA THERE AND THEN WE'RE DOING AND THEN SEPTEMBER IS ALREADY LIKE THE FINAL BUDGET HEARINGS ALL THROUGH THERE. SO SEPTEMBER IS REALLY HARD. AND I KNOW WE'VE SHARED THAT WITH THE C-SLIP TIMELINES AND ALL OF THAT. IT'S REALLY DIFFICULT ON THE CITY SIDE OF THINGS TO GET TO THOSE DATES. WE DO UNDERSTAND THAT. BUT YOU CAN SEE ALSO OUR TIME FRAME. THIS IS A TWO YEAR PROCESS. WE HAVE A FEDERAL DEADLINE OF DECEMBER AND SO IN ORDER TO MAKE THAT THIS IS WHERE THAT DEADLINE FALLS, I'M JUST I DON'T THINK WE HAVE FLEXIBILITY WITH THAT. SO WE'LL WORK WITH YOU AS BEST WE CAN. BUT IT IS A REQUIREMENT TO HAVE YOUR PROJECT INCLUDED IN THE PLAN AND, YOU KNOW, WE'VE LEFT WE GOT OUR APPROVAL IN MAY FROM THE BOARD, OUR ENDORSEMENT AND UNTIL WE HAVE THAT ENDORSEMENT, WE COULDN'T REALLY MOVE FORWARD WITH THIS. SO WE'VE TRIED TO RESERVE AS MUCH TIME AS POSSIBLE TO MAKE THIS WHOLE PROCESS AS TRANSPARENT AS POSSIBLE. BUT WE ALSO HAVE, YOU KNOW, FEDERAL DEADLINES THAT WE'RE DEALING WITH. SO I KNOW IT'S I KNOW IT'S NOT EASY. SO WE ASK FOR YOUR YOUR ASSISTANCE. DO THE BEST WE CAN. I HEARD BILL SAY SEPTEMBER 16TH, I HEARD IT. YEAH, ACTUALLY, I WAS GOING TO ECHO THE SAME THING THAT KAREN MENTIONED LAST YEAR. I REMEMBER YOU HAD THE SAME DEADLINE, SEPTEMBER 6TH FOR THE SLEEP CYCLE EIGHT AND IN THE MONTH OF AUGUST I KNOW THE COMMISSIONERS ARE ON VACATION. BASICALLY, WE HAVE TWO MONTHS TIME IN JUNE AND JULY AND YOU ARE PLANNING TO HAVE THE MEETING IN JUNE AND JULY. SO HOW ARE WE GOING TO MEET THE DEADLINE BEFORE WE TAKE IT TO THE COMMISSION? WE SHOULD HAVE THE MEETING WITH YOU. THAT'S WHY I THINK THE MEETING SHOULD BE CONDUCTED IN THE MONTH OF JUNE, NOT IN JULY, BECAUSE WE HAVE ONLY TWO MONTHS TIME, EITHER JUNE OR JULY, AND WE WILL NOT GO TO COMMISSION BEFORE THE MEETING WITH YOU. THAT'S WHY IF WE EXTEND THE MEETING UP TO JULY, THEN WE ARE NOT GOING TO MEET THE DEADLINE. PRACTICALLY IMPOSSIBLE. YEAH, THAT'S GOOD FEEDBACK AND WE CAN COMPRESS THE SCHEDULE. ABSOLUTELY. IF EVERYONE'S GOOD WITH THAT. YEAH, I THINK WE CAN MAKE MORE OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE IN JUNE. BUT THE OTHER THING IS YOU DON'T HAVE TO MEET WITH US BEFORE YOU CAN START SCHEDULING, YOU KNOW, AND LOOK AT YOUR OPPORTUNITIES INTERNALLY. BECAUSE AT THIS POINT, YOU KNOW, WHICH PROJECTS ARE ARE INCLUDED IN THE PLAN BY CITY SO THAT'S AVAILABLE TO YOU. SO I WOULD ENCOURAGE YOU TO THE EXTENT THAT YOU CAN DON'T WORK IN SERIAL WORK IN PARALLEL HERE AND, YOU KNOW, START YOUR PROCESS AND GET YOUR AGENDAS TIMED AND THEN WE'LL, MAKE MORE SLOTS AVAILABLE IN JUNE. I THINK THAT'S A GOOD SUGGESTION. THANK YOU. I THINK NEXT WEEK'S GREAT. AS SOON AS YOU CAN GET THOSE RESOLUTIONS SO THAT WE CAN START HAVING THE CONVERSATIONS THAT WOULD BE AT LEAST ABOUT THE LANGUAGE AND WHAT THE EXPECTATIONS ARE. OKAY. SO ANY OTHER QUESTIONS FOR CHRISTOPHER? GO AHEAD. CHRISTOPHER. YEAH. IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU GUYS ARE AT LEAST WANTING TWO RESOLUTIONS. ONE FOR THE PLAN AND HOLE, AND THEN ONE FOR INDIVIDUAL PROJECTS. AM I GETTING THAT STRAIGHT? SO WHAT? THE TWO RESOLUTIONS THAT I HAVE HERE IS, ONE IS A RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT THAT SHOWS THAT YOU'RE IN SUPPORT OF THE PROJECT THAT FALLS WITHIN YOUR JURISDICTION. THE SECOND ONE WOULD BE IF THERE IS A PROJECT THAT IS NOT ON YOUR LOCAL ROADWAY, THAT REQUIRES COORDINATION WITH FDOT OR BROWARD COUNTY, THE OTHER TWO ROADWAY OWNERS HAVE BEEN THERE. SUPPORT FOR THE PROJECT IS IMPORTANT, SO YOU'RE NOT SEEKING ONE FOR THE OVERALL PLAN ITSELF AT THIS POINT IN TIME? NO, THIS IS JUST FOR THE PROJECTS. I HAVE ONE MORE QUESTION THEN. SO WE PUT OUR LIST IN BUT I KNOW THE MPO PUT LISTS OF PROJECTS MAYBE IN OUR CITIES DOT HAS THE BROWARD COUNTY. SO IS THERE GOING TO BE THAT LIST OF ALL THE PROJECTS, BECAUSE SOME WERE NOT CLEAR AS TO WHICH CITIES THEY WERE IN BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T HAVE IT IN THERE. SO OUR WE'RE WORKING VERY HARD TO GET ALL OF THAT LIST READY FOR NEXT WEEK SO THAT IT HAS ALL OF THE PROJECTS IN THE DRAFT COST FEASIBLE PLAN BROKEN UP BY EACH AGENCY THAT HAS PROJECTS WITHIN THEM. SO NOT JUST THE LOCAL MUNICIPALITIES, BUT ALSO, FDOT, BROWARD COUNTY, AND ALSO THE PROJECTS THAT ARE PART OF THE UNFUNDED NEEDS PLAN. SO IF THERE ARE PROJECTS THAT MAYBE DON'T HAVE RESOLUTIONS FROM THE DRAFT COST FEASIBLE PLAN, AND YOU STILL WANT TO SEE WHAT'S IN THE UNFUNDED NEEDS PLAN THAT COULD POTENTIALLY MOVE UP, YOU HAVE THAT LIST AND YOU'LL SEE WHAT THOSE NEXT OPTIONS ARE. [00:15:03] OKAY. EXCELLENT. THANK YOU. ANY OTHER QUESTIONS? NO. SEEING NONE. THANK YOU CHRISTOPHER. THANK Y'ALL. [1. MOTION TO RECOMMEND BROWARD MPO APPROVE Amendments to the Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 - 2028 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP): A. FM#454706-1 CITY OF FORT LAUDERDALE TRANSIT NEEDS ASSESSMENT REPORT ] NEXT WE'RE GOING TO MOVE ON TO OUR ACTION ITEMS. THE FIRST ACTION ITEM IS A MOTION TO RECOMMEND BROWARD MPO APPROVE AMENDMENTS TO THE FISCAL YEAR 24 TO 28. TIP. THERE'S THREE DIFFERENT PROJECTS THERE. TWO AT INTERCHANGE 75 AND ROYAL PALM. AND THOSE ARE BOTH BUDGET RELATED INCREASES IN COSTS AND THEN THE THIRD IS IN THE CITY OF FORT LAUDERDALE IN REGARDS TO A GRANT RECEIVED FROM THE FTA TO INCLUDE IT IN THE TIP AND WE DO NOT HAVE A PRESENTATION FOR THIS. IF ANYBODY HAS QUESTIONS, STAFF IS HERE. OTHERWISE I WOULD CALL FOR A MOTION TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL TO THE MPO. ANY QUESTIONS? NO. EXCELLENT MOTION MADE BY MAQSOOD, SECONDED BY VIVIANA. THERE ARE NO QUESTIONS. WE'LL VOTE ON THE ITEM NOW. GOOD MOTION CARRIES. THANK YOU. NEXT ITEM IS A MOTION TO RECOMMEND THE BROWARD MPO APPROVE THE DRAFT FISCAL YEAR 25 MULTI-MODAL PRIORITIES LIST AND WE HAVE DOCTOR CHEN HERE [6. 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) Updates: http://routeto2050.org] [2. MOTION TO RECOMMEND BROWARD MPO APPROVE the DRAFT Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 Multimodal Priorities List (MMPL)] TO GIVE US A PRESENTATION. ARE WE GOOD WITH THE VOTE REBECCA OR? OH, OKAY. THE PRESENTATION. LAST MEETING. SO YOU STILL WANT TO HEAR MORE AGAIN OR JUST VOTE? HOW ABOUT LIKE A QUICK UPDATE ON WHAT WE'RE VOTING ON? JUST TO REMIND PEOPLE IT WAS A WHOLE MONTH AGO. WE MIGHT HAVE FORGOTTEN AND WE LIKE SEEING YOUR PRESENTATION AND REMIND US WHAT WE'RE DOING HERE. OKAY. THANK YOU, MADAM CHAIR. TODAY WE ARE VOTING ON THE FISCAL YEAR 2025 MULTI-MODAL PRIORITY LIST. SO THIS PRIORITY LIST WILL BE USED TO DEVELOP THE TENTATIVE WORK PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026 TO 2030, AS WELL AS TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM. THOSE WILL BE NEXT YEAR AND THIS, THE [INAUDIBLE] PRODUCTS, [INAUDIBLE] IS ONE OF THE CORE PRODUCTS AND THIS IS A PLANNING PROCESS. PRODUCTS FROM MPP TO [INAUDIBLE] TO DROP THE TENTATIVE WORK PROGRAM AND AT LAST THE TIP FOR IMPLEMENTATION. SO THIS YEAR IS THE LAST YEAR TO USE 2045 MPP. NEXT YEAR WE ARE GOING TO USE 2050 MPP TO DEVELOP [INAUDIBLE]. THIS SLIDE SHOWS MULTIMODAL PROJECTS PRIORITIES LIST DEVELOPMENT MPO SERVE AS A BRIDGE BETWEEN MTP AND THE TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM. THE MPO IS ORGANIZED BY SIX FUNDING PROGRAM. THE MPO TRACKS FUNDS BY SOURCE BY FAITH AND MONITOR PROJECT PROGRESS AND WE ALSO MONITOR PROJECT PROGRAM READINESS. CHRISTOPHER JUST MENTIONED A MOMENT AGO. THE PROJECT MEETS FOUR CRITERIA. ON THIS SLIDE, WE CALL THE PROJECT'S PROGRAM READY. SO THE PROJECT IS READY TO RECEIVE FUNDS. OTHERWISE IT STAY THERE. NO. MOVE FORWARD AND THIS IS THE SIXTH FUNDING PROGRAMS. THOSE PERCENTAGE WAS APPROVED IN THE 2020 2045 MTP. SO THIS PERCENTAGE IS USED TO ALLOCATE BROWARD MMPLS ATTRIBUTABLE FUNDS OR WE OFFER THE 2025 MULTIMODAL PRIORITY LIST. THE MMPL INCLUDE 104 PROJECTS. THIS SLIDE SHOWS PROJECTS BY FUNDING PROGRAM. NUMBER OF PROJECTS BY FUNDING PROGRAM. THIS SLIDE SHOWS UNFUNDED FUNDING AMOUNT BY FUNDING PROGRAM AND OWNERSHIP. SO OVERALL, TO COMPLETE THE PROJECTS ON LOCAL ROAD NEEDS FUNDS $579 MILLION TO COMPLETE THE PROJECTS ON STATE ROAD NEED $1.7 BILLION. BROWARD STAFF ALSO MONITORED PROJECT PROGRESS. THIS SLIDE SHOWS NUMBER OF PROJECTS GRADUATED FROM [INAUDIBLE]. [00:20:05] PROJECTS GRADUATED FROM THE NPO MEANS NO ADDITIONAL FUNDS NEEDED IN THE FUTURE. SO ALL FUNDS FOR THE PROJECTS HAD BEEN PROGRAMED IN THE MOST RECENT WORK PROGRAM AND TIP. SO FOR DETAILED INFORMATION FOR THOSE PROJECTS, PLEASE REFER TO THE ATTACHMENT 2 IN THE MEETING PACKAGE. SO THIS MMPL ALSO INCLUDES A TURNPIKE PRIORITY LIST. TURNPIKE STAFF ALSO HERE AND IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS OF MPO STAFF AND THE TURNPIKE STAFF READY TO ANSWER. EXCELLENT. THANK YOU JIHONG, IT'S ALWAYS SUCH A GOOD PRESENTATION. SO I LIKE TO SEE AND REMIND US THAT YOU HAVE TO BE ON CHRISTOPHER'S LIST FIRST, AND THEN YOU GET ON THE MMPL AND MAKE SURE ALL YOUR BOXES ARE CHECKED TO BE ABLE TO GET TO THAT NEXT STAGE AND BE FUNDED. ANY QUESTIONS? MAQSOOD. WELL, THERE YOU GO. MAYBE I DID NOT STUDY IT OR I FORGOT. DO YOU HAVE THE LIST OF THE FULLY FUNDED FIVE PROJECTS UNDER [INAUDIBLE] PROJECTS FULLY FUNDED? DO YOU HAVE THE LIST OF THOSE FIVE PROJECTS WE CAN KNOW? WHAT ARE THOSE PROJECTS? YES. GRADUATED PROJECTS. IT MEANS GRADUATED FROM THE MPO IF THE PROJECT ARE A GRADUATE MANY YEARS AGO. BUT STILL ON THE TIP, WE ARE NOT ON THE LIST. THIS LIST IS IN THE ATTACHMENT TWO IN THE MEETING PACKAGE. YEAH, THAT'S ACTUALLY I DIDN'T LOOK INTO THAT. IF YOU HAVE HANDY I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IT IS POSSIBLE OR IF NOT IT'S OKAY. WE CAN LOOK INTO THAT. BUT I DID NOT STUDY THAT LIST. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE OUR PROJECT IS THERE. WE CAN SORT OUT FOR YOU BECAUSE THE LIST, WE JUST LOOK AT IT, WE CAN SORT ALL THE WISHES, C-SLIP. WE WILL SEND YOU AFTER THE MEETING. IT'S OKAY. CHRISTOPHER? I FOUND THAT ATTACHMENT TWO VERY INTERESTING BECAUSE OFTENTIMES I DON'T REALLY THINK ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS TO MY PROJECT. IT DIDN'T RANK IN C SLIP, AND NOW IT'S SHOWING UP ON SOMETHING THAT IT'S LIKE, HEY, WE DON'T HAVE ANY MONEY FOR. WHICH LEADS ME TO A QUESTION, ACTUALLY, BECAUSE I NOTICED THAT CYCLE EIGHT C SLIP PROJECTS ARE INCLUDED IN THE MMPL. I'M GOING TO GET ALL THESE ACRONYMS ONE OF THESE DAYS. BUT THERE'S A FUNDING LINE FOR C SLIP, AND I JUST WONDER WHY PROJECTS UNDER THAT LINE ARE CONTINUE TO BE INCLUDED IN THE MMPL. THAT'S MY FIRST QUESTION. THIS THIS SLIDE PERCENTAGE, WE DEFINE HOW MUCH FUNDS GET FOR SIX FUNDING PROGRAM. SO WE PUT A PROGRAMING THRESHOLD BECAUSE WE DON'T WANT ONE PROGRAM TOO MUCH PROJECTS AND OVER THIS LIMITS. SO THAT'S WHY THE NOT PROGRAM SPECIFIC PROJECTS WERE REMOVED FROM THE MMPL AND THE YOU CAN REAPPLY IN THE NEXT CYCLE. AND I'M NOT SURE IF YOU'RE THE RIGHT PERSON TO ASK THIS ABOUT, BUT IN THE WE HAVE. I KNOW THAT'S WHY I SEE PEOPLE MOVING TO THE FRONT. THERE WAS SOME DISCUSSION A WHILE BACK FOR FM 4463781. IT'S THE POWER LINE FROM SOUTHWEST 10TH UP TO THE COUNTY LINE AND COORDINATION WITH THAT BRIDGE AND I WAS WONDERING WHAT THE RESULTS OF THOSE CONVERSATIONS WERE AND IF THAT WAS WHY IT CONTINUES TO BE ON THE MPPL. HI PETER. HE'S WITH THE BROWARD MPO. SO WITH RESPECT TO THAT SPECIFIC PROJECT ON POWER LINE ROAD WE HAVE HAD CONVERSATIONS WITH THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION WHO WOULD BE LEADING THE [INAUDIBLE] STUDY ON THAT. THEY'VE ALSO HAD SOME DISCUSSIONS WITH PALM BEACH COUNTY AND THE PALM BEACH TPA, AND IT LOOKS LIKE WE ARE GOING TO BE STOPPING THE PROJECT BEFORE THAT BRIDGE, BECAUSE ONE OF THE THINGS WE'VE IDENTIFIED, JUST TAKING A LOOK AT IT, DOING A VERY PRELIMINARY DESKTOP REVIEW OF SOME OF THE TRAFFIC PATTERNS AND EVERYTHING ON THERE, IS THAT THE ISSUE SEEMS TO BE MORE WITH HOW THE LANES COME IN AND OUT, RATHER THAN THERE BEING A FULL CAPACITY ISSUE. SO I THINK THE PD IS GOING TO FOCUS MOSTLY ON HOW TO WORK THAT AND GET IT KIND OF INTO. SO IF YOU'VE EVER DRIVEN IN THAT SECTION, THERE'S A TURN LANE THAT COMES ON, THEN IT DROPS HEADING NORTHBOUND. SAME THING SOUTHBOUND. WHEN YOU'RE GETTING INTO THE PARK, LIKE THE TURN LANE COMES UP AND THEN THERE'S A DROP AND THERE'S ALL THIS MERGING AND WEAVING GOING ON AND I THINK THAT'S THE ISSUE THAT WE'RE GOING TO LOOK AT SOLVING, BECAUSE THAT'S WHERE WE BELIEVE THE CAPACITY ISSUE STEMS FROM. SO WE WON'T BE GOING UP TO THE BRIDGE. SO FOR THE HILLSBORO AND POWERLINE. THANK YOU. INTERSECTION AND WE WANT TO CLOSELY COORDINATE WITH YOU ON. [00:25:05] YES. THAT PD AND E STUDY. YES. PLEASE DO FORWARD. YEAH AND IF I COULD JUST MAKE ONE ADDITIONAL COMMENT ABOUT THE C SLIP QUESTION THAT YOU HAD, THE REASON WHY WE KEEP THE PROJECTS ON THERE BELOW THE FUNDING THRESHOLD IS THAT THERE'S ALWAYS A CHANCE THAT WE DO A REVIEW OF THE PROJECTS ABOVE THE FUNDING THRESHOLD, AND WE FIND THE PROJECT TO NOT BE FEASIBLE FOR WHATEVER REASON. SO THEN WE CAN MOVE DOWN TO THE NEXT PROJECTS AND THAT'S WHY WE KEEP THE PROJECTS ON THERE AND ONCE WE'VE IDENTIFIED THE PROJECTS FOR THAT FUNDING CYCLE, WE KNOW THEY'RE FEASIBLE AND MOVING FORWARD, WE REMOVE THEM AND THEY SHOW UP ON THAT ATTACHMENT TO. ANDREW. JUST TO DO ON THAT PROJECT, PETER, ON THE SAWGRASS PROJECT, WHERE IT INTERCONNECTS THERE. I'M SURE THERE'S SOME, YOU KNOW, RIGHT OF WAY CONSTRAINTS AND SPACE CONSTRAINTS AS FAR AS, YOU KNOW, ORGANIZING THE MERGING AND THE STACKING AND THE QUEUING AND ALL THAT. THAT'S I COULD SEE HOW THAT COULD PRESENT SOME PROBLEMS. YEAH. PETER, HE'S AGAIN YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. DEFINITELY ONE OF THE REASONS WHY WE NEED A BECAUSE WE NEED TO ALSO LOOK AT THE RIGHT OF WAY CONSTRAINTS ALONG THE CORRIDOR AND THEN THAT WILL DICTATE KIND OF THE NEXT STEP FROM THERE. OFTENTIMES AND THIS IS A CONDITION THAT WE'RE JUST GENERALLY DEALING WITH IN BROWARD IS THAT WE DON'T HAVE A WHOLE LOT MORE ROOM TO WIDEN. SO WE HAVE TO BE MORE JUDICIOUS ABOUT HOW WE LOOK AT CAPACITY IMPROVEMENTS AND EXCUSE ME, RATHER THAN JUST GOING IN AND SAYING, WE'RE GOING TO BUY A BUNCH OF RIGHT OF WAY AND THEN BUILD LANES, LET'S TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT'S OUT THERE AND SEE WHAT WE CAN DO WITH THE EXISTING RIGHT OF WAY SPACE AND MAYBE THERE'S SOME TWEAKS IN POWER LINE ROAD FROM SOUTHWEST 10TH NORTH TO THE COUNTY LINE IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF THAT. THANK YOU. THANK YOU PETER. ANY OTHER QUESTIONS REGARDING THE MPO? I CAN ANSWER THE QUESTION. THE GENTLEMAN JUST MENTIONED THE PROJECT GRADUATE, THE PROJECT LIST. THE ATTACHMENT TWO IS ORGANIZED BY PROGRAM. SO YOU LOOK AT THEIR PROJECTS. GRADUATE STICKS TOGETHER I JUST REMEMBERED. THANK YOU [INAUDIBLE]. OKAY. SHARE THE PLAN. YEAH, IT'S WHAT HE WANTED TO SEE. SO WE'RE GOOD. NO FURTHER QUESTIONS. OKAY. THEN I WILL ASK FOR A MOTION TO RECOMMEND TO THE BROWARD MPO TO APPROVE THE DRAFT FISCAL YEAR 25 MPO. MOTIONS? MADE BY CHRISTOPHER, SECONDED BY MAQSOOD. ANY OTHER COMMENTS ON THE MOTION? SEEING NONE, I'LL CALL FOR A VOTE. THE MOTION CARRIES. THANK YOU VERY MUCH EVERYONE. SO WE'RE GOING TO MOVE ON TO OUR NON ACTION ITEMS. [1. Broward MPO Performance Measures Dashboard & State of the System Report] THE FIRST IS THE PERFORMANCE MEASURES DASHBOARD AND STATE OF THE SYSTEM REPORT BY MISTER FLAVIN. ALRIGHT, GOOD AFTERNOON MADAM CHAIR AND MEMBERS OF THE TAC. LET ME JUST GET ADJUSTED HERE. HERE WE GO. SO WHAT I'M ABOUT TO SHOW YOU ESSENTIALLY ARE TWO OF THE DATA PRODUCTS THAT ARE PRODUCED BY THE PLANNING AND PROGRAMING TEAM AT THE MPO. BY THE WAY, I AM PAUL FLAVIN AND I'M THE DATA MANAGER FOR THE MPO. I'M ALSO TASKED WITH PERFORMANCE MEASURES. NOW THE DASHBOARD SPECIFICALLY DEALS WITH PERFORMANCE MEASURES AND IT'S INTERACTIVE. IT HAS A LOT OF GREAT DATA IN IT. IN THE STATE OF THE SYSTEMS REPORT IS MORE OF A SORT OF A ANYWAY, I'LL SHOW YOU WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE, BUT IT ALSO LIVES ON OUR WEBSITE. IT'S A BEAUTIFUL LITTLE, YOU KNOW, BOOKLET THAT WE CREATE WITH LOTS OF GREAT DATA AND STATISTICS IN IT AND, YOU KNOW, WE'LL GO THROUGH THAT. SO FIRST LET'S TALK ABOUT THE DASHBOARD. AGAIN. IT LIVES ON OUR WEBSITE. YOU WOULD GO TO WHAT WE DO MAJOR INITIATIVES. YOU WOULD SCROLL DOWN AND YOU WOULD CLICK ON PERFORMANCE MEASURES. YOU WOULD GO TO THIS WHAT LOVELY PICTURE HERE AND CLICK ON IT AND IT BRINGS YOU HERE TO THIS PAGE AND AGAIN THE FIRST PAGE ESSENTIALLY TALKS ABOUT THE MPO, WHAT IT DOES, SOME STATISTICS ABOUT BROWARD AND THINGS LIKE THAT. NOW I WANT TO HAVE YOUR ATTENTION ON THE LEFT SIDE HERE. THIS IS SCORECARDS SCORECARD ESSENTIALLY GIVES YOU A SNAPSHOT OF WHERE WE ARE IN PERFORMANCE MEASURES. SO ESSENTIALLY EVERYTHING WHAT WE ADOPTED IN PERFORMANCE MEASURES LAST YEAR SPECIFICALLY WITH SAFETY AND TRANSIT ASSET MANAGEMENT AND TRANSIT SAFETY, ALL THOSE RESIDE HERE BECAUSE WE ADOPT THOSE ON A YEARLY BASIS. BUT IT ALSO HAS EVERYTHING ELSE TO WITH PERFORMANCE MEASURES RELATING TO PAVEMENT CONDITIONS AND BRIDGE CONDITIONS AND AND ALSO SYSTEM PERFORMANCE AND THINGS LIKE THAT. SO AGAIN, THE SCORECARD IS A QUICK WAY TO LOOK AT, YOU KNOW, WHERE WE'RE AT AND IT ALSO PROVIDES A TREND, A TREND LINE ESSENTIALLY. [00:30:04] SO IF YOU LOOK AT THE TREND AND YOU SEE A RED, IT MEANS ESSENTIALLY THAT WE'RE MOVING IN THE WRONG DIRECTION IN TERMS OF THAT PERFORMANCE METRIC. RIGHT AND IF YOU SEE A GREEN, THAT MEANS, YOU KNOW WE'RE MOVING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. SO ESSENTIALLY AGAIN FOR ALL PERFORMANCE MEASURE AREAS WE HAVE THIS LITTLE SCORECARD AND YOU COULD JUST SCROLL THROUGH IT AT YOUR LEISURE. ALSO IF YOU WANT A MORE IN DEPTH LOOK AT WHAT HOW WE'RE DOING IN TERMS OF SAFETY AND OTHER OTHER PERFORMANCE MEASURE AREAS, YOU CAN CLICK HERE. IT HAS A FULL PAGE OF ITS OWN AND THE FIRST THING YOU'LL SEE ESSENTIALLY IS LIKE A HEAT MAP OF CRASHES. ESSENTIALLY THIS DATA IS FROM 2018 TO 2022. THE REASON WE DO THAT IS BECAUSE THIS IS HOW THE FEDS WANT US TO ESSENTIALLY, YOU KNOW, SHOW THE DATA IT'S AT FIVE YEAR AVERAGE DATA AND AGAIN, THE LATEST DATA THAT WE HAVE IS 2018 TO 2022. SO THAT'S WHAT YOU SEE. THIS IS A HEAT MAP OF ALL THE CRASHES. ONE OF THE COOL THINGS ABOUT THIS DASHBOARD, IF YOU HOVER OVER THIS THING HERE, IT WILL TELL YOU HOW YOU CAN EITHER DOWNLOAD THE DATA LIKE THIS IS YOU CAN DOWNLOAD IT AS A JSON, ESSENTIALLY A GIS. YOU COULD EXPORT IT AS A PICTURE IF YOU WANT. WE ALSO HAVE HERE YOU ALL KNOW ABOUT OUR HIGH INJURY NETWORK THAT WE USE AS PART OF THE C-SLIP PROCESS. IT RESIDES HERE. IN FACT, IT WAS DEVELOPED WITH THE PERFORMANCE MEASURE DASHBOARD. SO YOU COULD AGAIN COME HERE AND IT CAN BE DOWNLOADED AS A GIS. IF YOU WANT TO EXPORT THE MAP, WHATEVER YOU WANT TO DO AND AGAIN, IT HAS ALL THE STATISTICS THAT YOU KNOW YOU'D WANT TO KNOW ABOUT FATALITY RATE. WE ALSO HAVE ESSENTIALLY STATISTICS SHOWING HOW WE'RE DOING COMPARED TO OUR NEIGHBORS PALM BEACH TPO AND MIAMI DADE. TPA AND AGAIN, IF YOU LET'S SAY YOU DON'T YOU JUST WANT TO SEE BROWARD. YOU CAN EASILY REMOVE THEM. WE HAVE THE FIVE YEAR AVERAGE DATA. WE ALSO HAVE THE ANNUAL DATA GOING BACK ESSENTIALLY TO 2006. SO THERE'S A LOT OF THINGS YOU COULD DO HERE AND AGAIN WITH THIS DATA YOU CAN ACTUALLY EXPORT IT AS A CSV, ESSENTIALLY AN EXCEL FILE. YOU COULD RUN YOUR OWN ANALYSIS IF YOU WANT. SO AGAIN DATA RELATING TO CRASH RATES, SERIOUS INJURIES, ALL THAT AND WE ALSO HAVE A LITTLE HIGH INJURY NETWORK FOR JUST BIKE AND PED AS WELL IN THERE. SO THAT'S KIND OF COOL. AGAIN YOU CAN DOWNLOAD IT AS A GIS. YOU CAN DOWNLOAD IT AS A PICTURE, WHATEVER YOU WANT TO DO AND AGAIN WE DO THE SAME THING FOR ALL OF THE OTHER PERFORMANCE MEASURE AREAS. SO AGAIN YOU COULD PERUSE THIS AT YOUR LEISURE AND YOU KNOW THAT'S THE PERFORMANCE MEASURE DASHBOARD. NOW AGAIN THE STATE OF THE SYSTEM REPORT ALSO LIVES ON THE WEBSITE ESSENTIALLY AT THE SAME PLACE. BUT YOU JUST HAVE TO SCROLL DOWN A LITTLE FURTHER DOWN. EXCUSE ME. WELL, HERE WE GO. RIGHT HERE AGAIN. CLICK ON THIS LOVELY PICTURE AND IT TAKES YOU HERE. NOW THE WEBSITE DOES NOT DO THIS REPORT JUSTICE. I HAVE TO SAY AGAIN, WHEN YOU HOLD IT IN YOUR HAND, ACTUALLY LOOK AT IT. IT REALLY IT'S A VERY VISUALLY APPEALING AND GREAT PIECE OF WORK. I MEAN, I NO, DON'T MEAN TO BRAG, BUT WE'RE AT LEAST THE MPO WERE. THAT'S THE KIND OF WORK THAT WE'RE PROUD TO PUT OUT AGAIN. FIRST PAGE ESSENTIALLY, IT'S A MESSAGE FROM OUR CHAIR AND OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, AND IT TELLS YOU ESSENTIALLY WHAT YOU'RE GOING TO FIND IN THIS REPORT. SO ESSENTIALLY WE HAVE AN OVERVIEW ABOUT LAND USE, EMPLOYMENT, HOUSING, COMMUNITY AND OTHER TRANSPORTATION RELATED STUFF. BUT THE IMPORTANT STUFF IS IT GIVES YOU INFORMATION ABOUT THE ENTIRE TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM AIR, LAND, SEA, YOU NAME IT, IT'S IN THERE. YOU'LL FIND STATISTICS ABOUT IT. SO AGAIN, SCROLLING THROUGH IT QUICKLY. YOU FIND ALL THAT WONDERFUL INFORMATION THAT BIKE AND PAD, AIRPORTS, SEAPORTS, YOU NAME IT, IT'S THAT INFORMATION IS IN THERE AND AGAIN, IT'S IN A VISUALLY APPEALING JUST QUICK FACTOIDS AND STATS AND AGAIN, EASILY CONSUMABLE. SO THAT'S WHAT I HAVE FOR YOU. AND AGAIN, THIS IS WHAT THE REPORT LOOKS LIKE AND I ACTUALLY HAVE A COUPLE. SO IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE ONE, I KNOW THE CHAIR IS EXPRESSED INTEREST IN HAVING ONE, SO ONE IS RESERVED FOR HER, BUT I ALSO HAVE ANOTHER ONE HERE. SO ANYONE ELSE WOULD LIKE TO HAVE ONE, YOU KNOW. I APPRECIATE ALL OF YOU. DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR ANY THING GOING ON? SURE. ANDREW. HI, JENNIFER, I JUST HAD A QUESTION ON THE ON THE ELECTRIC VEHICLES AND EV GRANTS. HOW DO THE MUNICIPALITIES GET INVOLVED IN THAT? I UNDERSTAND FROM, YOU KNOW, SOME OF THE COORDINATION MEETINGS THAT IS KIND OF BETTER FOR A LARGER ENTITY SUCH AS THE MPO TO APPLY FOR IT AND I UNDERSTAND THE REASONS WHY IT'S A LARGE UNDERTAKING AND THINGS LIKE THAT. BUT HOW WHAT CAN THE MUNICIPALITIES DO TO ASSIST OR HOW CAN WE, YOU KNOW, GET SOME BENEFIT FROM THAT? WELL, DEFINITELY BY REACHING OUT WITH US AND WE CAN KIND OF LOOK OVER WHAT PEOPLE ARE LOOKING FOR WHAT EV THEY'RE LOOKING [00:40:07] FOR AND YEAH, BUT I CAN ALSO GET BACK TO YOU AND COORDINATING WITH THAT MEETING THAT WE HAVE EVERY SECOND TUESDAY. SO THAT WILL DEFINITELY HELP. THANK YOU. YOU ANY OTHER QUESTIONS FOR JENNIFER? NO. THANK YOU FOR THE UPDATE. THANK YOU. THAT IS IT FOR OUR PRESENTATIONS AND ACTION ITEMS. [ ADMINISTRATIVE ITEMS ] THE REST ARE JUST COMMITTEE REPORTS PARTICIPATION RECORDS, THE NOTICE OF THE PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE DRAFT TIP AND C-SLIP. EVERYBODY WHO'S PLANNING ON GOING PLEASE STAY THERE IS A C-SLIP WORKSHOP RIGHT AFTER THIS. THAT WILL HAPPEN. MY REMINDERS I THINK BILL WAS GOING TO SHARE ABOUT THE NEXT MEETING TOO. OKAY. THANK YOU. CHAIR. SO I HAD JUST A COUPLE ITEMS I DID WANT TO SHARE. SO IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER. NUMBER ONE JUST TO SHARE THAT THE BCR SOUTH IS HAVING THEIR PUBLIC MEETINGS. THE IN PERSON IS TONIGHT. BUT THERE'S A VIRTUAL TOMORROW NIGHT, SO THAT MIGHT BE SIMPLER FOR MANY OF YOU. THE SECOND THING THAT I WANTED TO SHARE IS JUST A REMINDER. IT IS ON YOUR AGENDA. SEPTEMBER 12TH, OUR BOARD WILL BE MEETING DOWN AT MODS INSTEAD OF HERE AND THAT IS THE MTP EVENT 2050. SO WE'RE HOPING, YOU KNOW, TO HAVE REALLY GOOD TURNOUT FROM ALL OF YOU DOWN THERE. I THINK IT'S GOING TO BE A REALLY GREAT EVENT. SO JUST PUT THAT ON YOUR CALENDAR AND THEN FINALLY, YOU KNOW, WE'RE UP FOR ELECTIONS HERE NEXT MONTH WITH THE TAC. SO WE COULDN'T TWIST KAREN'S ARM FOR THE SIXTH YEAR IN A ROW. I DON'T KNOW WHY. SO WE WILL HAVE ELECTIONS NEXT MONTH. WE'LL HOLD THOSE. SO ANYBODY WHO HAS INTEREST, YOU KNOW, IF YOU'D LIKE TO REACH OUT TO MYSELF, THAT WOULD BE GREAT OR YOU CAN JUST COME TO AND NOMINATE YOURSELF. BUT IF YOU'D PREFER TO HAVE ME YOU KNOW, ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE SHOWN INTEREST. I'M GLAD TO DO THAT AS WELL. SO THAT'S KIND OF UP TO EACH OF YOU HOW YOU'D LIKE TO HANDLE IT. BUT WE'RE LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT NEXT MONTH AS WELL AND THAT'S MY REPORT. THANK YOU CHAIR. EXCELLENT. ANY COMMENTS FROM THE BOARD OR NO, THEN I WILL ADJOURN THE MEETING. THANK YOU. * This transcript was compiled from uncorrected Closed Captioning.
