YOU MAY WONDER WHAT IS LIST OF PRIORITY PROJECTS? THE IOP INCLUDES PROJECTS IN NUMERICAL ORDER, AND FDOT USE THIS IOP TO DEVELOP DRAFT ALTERNATIVE WORK PROGRAM. SO TODAY I'M PRESENTING FISCAL YEAR 2026 LIST OF PRIORITY PROJECTS. THIS IOP WILL BE USED TO DEVELOP DRAFT, ALTERNATIVE WORK

PROGRAM AND THE TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEAR 2027 TO FISCAL YEAR 2031.THIS SLIDE INCLUDES THE BROWARD MPOS CORE PRODUCTS.
IOPP IS ONE OF THE CORE PRODUCTS. THIS SLIDE SHOWS BROWARD MPOS PLANNING PROCESS BY FOLLOWING FEDERAL LAW. THE BROWARD MPO UPDATES METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION PLAN EVERY FIVE YEARS BY FOLLOWING STATE AND FEDERAL LAW. THE MPO UPDATES IOPP AND THE TIP EVERY YEAR.
PROJECTS IN THE METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION PLAN.
MOVE TO EUROPE AND THEN MOVE TO DRAFT ALTERNATIVE WORK PROGRAM AND AT LAST MOVE TO TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR IMPLEMENTATION. SO, I WANT TO NOTE THE 2050 MTP IS USED TO DEVELOP DROP THIS. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME. SO DRAFT TENTATIVE WORK PROGRAM USE THIS MTP DEVELOPED WILL BE RELEASED BY THE FDOT IN THE UPCOMING FALL.
AND THE TIP DEVELOPED WITH THIS IOPP WILL BE PRESENTED AT THE JULY 2026 BOARD MEETING. OUR IOPP SERVE AS BRIDGE BETWEEN METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION PLAN AND THE TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM.
THE IOPP MONITORS FUNDS BY FUNDING TYPE, FUNDING SOURCE AND ALSO FUNDING PROGRESS.
THE IOPP ALSO MONITORS PROJECT PROGRAM READINESS.
HAS TO HAVE CLEAR SCOPE OF WORK. APPROVED RESOLUTIONS FROM ALL PARTIES ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PROJECT. GOOD COST ESTIMATE AND THE PARTNER COLLABORATION.
THE BROWARD MPO STAFF HAS BEEN WORKING WITH MUNICIPALITIES, COUNTIES AND PLANNING PARTNERS TO MAKE PROJECT PROGRAM READY. THE IOPP IS ORGANIZED BY MTP FUNDING PROGRAMS. PERCENTAGE PRESENTED IN THIS SLIDE WERE APPROVED IN THE MTP 2050, SO THIS PERCENTAGE IS USED TO DISTRIBUTE BROWARD MPOS ATTRIBUTED FUNDS AMONG FUNDING PROGRAMS. LET'S TAKE A LOOK AT THE IOP FOR THIS YEAR. THE IOP INCLUDES 118 PROJECTS.

MTP AMENDMENTS MAY BE REQUIRED FOR ENSURING PLANNING CONSISTENCY.
FOR EXAMPLE, YOU KNOW, SOME OF OUR PARTNERS LIKE BCT OR, YOU KNOW, ANY PARTNER CAN HAVE A PROJECT THAT'S MOSTLY LOCALLY FUNDED, BUT THEY WOULD LIKE TO PURSUE SOME FEDERAL GRANT OPPORTUNITIES.
